 Fundraising shouldn’t be seen as a burden – the word ‘fundraising’ after all starts with FUN.   Enjoy, and do please fundraise as you feel naturally gifted.  Whether you want to host a coffee morning, run a quiz night, a raffle of promises, arrange a swimathon, or indeed climb a mountain or two - but have fun.  For children, it might be keeping quiet for minutes at a time which the adults might enjoy more than the children…!

Garage sales can be time-consuming but very profitable, tabletop sales are certainly much easier, and anything not wanted can often be collected by one of the growing teams of collectors who are looking to purchase rags for recycling. 

Our small band of volunteers from the GTA and Barrie area bring a wide range of benefits to Kid's Hope. By giving their passion and time they inspire us with their vitality and insight into everything we do.

We are always in need of more volunteers who will help us do more in many different ways which, in the end, will result in transforming the lives of children, young people and families in Canada and overseas.

 At present we need people aged 16+ (there is no upper limit!) who will help us in 

• Filling envelopes for the mail out of our regular newsletters
• Office Administration (including things like bank reconciliations)  
• Communications (especially blogs and social media)
• Planning and Assisting at Events
• Raising our local profile with individuals, churches and businesses

 Your donation allows us to provide emergency food and clothing to those families and children in need. Especially nowadays, when Canada receives thousands of refugees from Eastern Europe and other locations.
